We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our People Department and work closely with our Production and Purchasing teams. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving our People Growth Plan, ensuring that we attract and retain the best talent to meet the evolving needs of these critical departments.

This is a unique opportunity for a results-driven professional with strong project management skills and business acumen to shape talent strategies, influence cross-departmental success, and make a lasting impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

You will report directly to Josefine Tonn, Director People Germany, and work remotely within Germany.

Your new Role

  • Act as a strategic partner to the Production and Purchasing teams, ensuring their talent needs align with business growth objectives.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with department heads to monitor and track hiring progress, ensuring alignment with headcount goals.

  • Develop and implement scalable recruitment initiatives, leveraging diverse talent sources, including international markets and relocation agencies.

  • Analyze recruitment KPIs to improve funnel efficiency, reduce time-to-hire, and optimize cost-per-hire.

  • Conduct regular market reviews with stakeholders, identifying challenges and driving actionable solutions.

  • Enhance sourcing strategies and processes to support international growth and operational scalability.

  • Drive business expansion initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence within the People function.

 

Your Skills

  • Proven experience in business development, project management, or a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and drive results.

  • A degree in business, management, or a related field, showcasing a solid foundation in strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.

  • A solution-oriented mindset, capable of making quick decisions and thriving in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.

  • Business acumen and a growth-hacking mindset to identify opportunities and implement innovative solutions.

  • Fluency in English (required); German language skills are a strong plus.
